DNCC Mayor Becomes Board member of Asian Volleyball Confederation

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Atiqul Islam has become a member of board of administration of the Asian Volleyball Confederation.

In a press release, DNCC confirmed the news on Saturday morning. 

Atiqul, who is also the president of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation, was selected for the post in a meeting board of administration of Asian Volleyball Confederation held on November 9, the release said, reports media.

In this regard, Rita Subowo, president of the Asian Volleyball Confederation, recently sent a letter to Atiqul, it said.

In Asia and Oceania, the Asian Volleyball Confederation, commonly known by the acronym AVC, is the governing body for indoor, beach and grass volleyball games.
