AL Finalises 25 Mayoral Candidates Municipal Polls

The ruling Awami League (AL) has finalized 25 mayoral candidates for elections to 25 municipalities in the first phase to be held on December 28.
The selection of the candidates was finalized at the local government representative board of the ruling Awami League on Saturday.
The meeting of the nomination board was held at Ganabhaban, the official residence of the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting.
A press notification signed by Awami League office secretary Barrister Biplab Barua revealed this information.
