IGP Asks SPs to Work As Change Maker

Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Dr Benazir Ahmed has asked the superintendents of police (SPs) to work for the people of the country as 'change-makers'.

''The SPs should work as role models for others and they should work for the people of the country for enhancing the honour of police,'' he said while speaking at a programme at Police Headquarters on Sunday evening.

''We have to shun torture and brutality and hear the problems of people. We need to behave well with them. If you love people, you can get it too, Corona has shown us that,'' he said.

The IGP said there is no place for corrupt and drug addict people in police force.

High official concerned of police were present at the event.
