Global COVID-19 Death Toll Reaches 1,851,448

Global deaths from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,851,448 as of Tuesday morning, according to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University.

In addition, around the world, 85,624,961 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population currently, most of them are in mild condition.

Among the currently 23,190,415 infected patients 23,082,567 are in mild condition, which is 99.5 percent, Worldometer records in its daily updates.

On the other hand, 107,848 of the currently infected patients are in serious condition, and their percentage is only 0.5.

So far, 48,086,570 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 24 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Monday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 7,650.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 516,929 as 910 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
