Journalist Mizanur Rahman Passes Away

Prominent journalist and joint editor of Prothom Alo, Mizanur Rahman Khan (53) is no more.

He died at a private hospital in the capital on Monday evening (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilahi Raziun).

Mizanur Rahman Khan was infected with coronavirus on November 26. He was first treated at a private hospital in Dhaka.

He was admitted to Universal Medical College Hospital in Mohakhali on December 10. There he was treated in an intensive care unit.

He was taken to life support last Saturday afternoon when his physical condition deteriorated. The doctor on duty declared him dead at 6:05 pm this evening.
