Cold Wave May Continue for a Few More Days

The cold may continue for a few more days across the country with the temperature going to fall further, Bangladesh Meteorological Department said on Thursday.

The lowest temperature was recorded at 7.1 degrees Celsius in Dinajpur. Meanwhile, the temperature in Dhaka was 16 degrees.

The cold wave started from Wednesday and it may continue for 2-3 days, the Met office said.

The cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Pabna and Naogaon, it added.

Day and night temperature may deteriorate slightly in the next 24-hour starting from 9 am on Thursday.

The mercury with clouded sky may persist in the country.

The previous day, the lowest temperature was recorded at 7.8 degrees Celsius in Badalgachhi of Naogaon.
