The closure of all educational institutions except Qawmi Madrasa has been extended till February 28 due to the ongoing coronavirus epidemic.

This information was given by the public relations officer of the Ministry of Education MA Khair in a gazette notification sent on Sunday (February 14).

Educational institutions have been closed since March 17 last year.

The notification said that all educational institutions in the country were closed till Sunday. However, considering the situation, the holiday was extended till February 28.

On March 6 last year, the first corona patient was identified and the educational institution was declared closed from March 16. After increasing it by a few steps, there was a holiday till February 14. Online learning activities will continue during the holidays.

However, on January 22, the Department of Secondary and Higher Education issued guidelines to open educational institutions by confirming the health rules in the Corona situation. Following this guideline, all educational institutions are asked to prepare for the opening.

The guidelines were sent to schools and colleges to prepare the schools by February 4 so that they could be reopened at any time.
