UGC Celebrates 101st Birth Anniversary of Bangabandhu

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has celebrated the 101st birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Wednesday with due respect and festivity.

UGC celebrated the day with different events including placing wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi 32 in the capital.

The commission also placed wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu at the UGC office while it celebrated the 101st birth anniversary of the Bangabandhu by cutting a mega cake at the commission on the day.

UGC members Prof Sazzad Hossain, Prof Muhammad Alamgir, Prof Biswajit Chanda, Prof Md Abu Taher, acting secretary Ferdous Zaman, its directors Sultan Mahmud Bhuyain and Shamsul Arefin among others were present at the programs.
