Film Actor Wasim Dies

Film actor Wasim died of multiple ailments at a city hospital in the early hours on Sunday.

Confirming the news Bangladesh Film Artists Association General Secretary Zayed Khan said Wasim breathed his last at Shahabuddin Medical College Hospital around 12:30 am.

He said Wasim was undergoing treatment at the hospital for different ailments, including kidney problem.

Wasim made his debut in the Dhaka film industry in 1972 and rose to prominence through his acting in different movies. 

Chando Hariey Gelo, Rater Por Din, Dost Dusmon, the Rain are among his notable films.
