Bangladesh Approves Russia's Sputnik V COVID-19 Vaccine

The government has approved Russian Sputnik V Covid -19 vaccine for emergency use in the country.

Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA) took the decision at a meeting on Tuesday, reports media.

The approval was given by the Committee on Emergency Public Health Medicines, Experimental Medicines, Vaccines, and Medical Equipment formed by the Ministry of Health.

Maj Gen Mahbubur Rahman, director general of Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA), confirm the news.

The government will now bring the Russian Covid-19 vaccine to the country and it can be administered, he said.
