However, inter-district public transports will remain suspended

The government has decided to allow public transports to operate inside cities and districts from 6 May.
However, inter-district public transports will remain suspended.
Meanwhile, the government has extended the ongoing lockdown till 16 May.
Trains and launches will be suspended also during the extended lockdown.
Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam came up with the information on Monday.
Public transport was suspended on 5 April as part of the countrywide lockdown measures in the face of an alarming surge of coronavirus infections in the country.
