Rain Or Thundershowers with Gusty Wind Likely over Country

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places, reports BSS.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Dhaka, Tangail, Madaripur, Gopalgonj, Noakhali, Feni, Pabna, Patuakhali and Khepupara and it may abate from some more places, said a met office release here today.

Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country’s maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 37.4 degree Celsius at Jashore and today’s minimum temperature 21.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Sylhet.

Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6.00 am today was recorded 49 millimeters (mm) at Chandpur.

The sun sets at 06.28 pm and rises at 05.22 am tomorrow in the capital.
