Bangladesh Air Force Chief Departs for USA

Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat along with his spouse and two entourages left Dhaka for the United States of America (USA) on Friday on a six-day official visit.

During his visit to USA, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force will participate in a bilateral meeting with high officials of UN Headquarters, New York on the issues related to UN peacekeeping missions of the Bangladesh Air Force.

He will also call on Chief of US Air Force General Charles Q. Brown, Jr. and Director of Defence Security Co-operation Agency (DSCA) Ms. Heidi Grant and exchange views on different issues of mutual interests.

During his stay in USA, Chief of Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force will visit various military and civil installations in the USA including the aviation companies like Lockheed Martin and Boeing.

During his visit to Boeing Company, the Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force will give a brief presentation on Bangladesh in addition to participating in a discussion on Aviation and Military equipment.

It is expected that the visit of the Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force will provide an opportunity for fruitful discussion with high officials of UN Headquarters on various issues related to the Bangladesh Air Force UN peacekeeping mission which will help to determine the future course of action for the country.

Finally, through this visit, the existing bilateral relations between the Air Forces of the two friendly countries will be further strengthened.
