SSC-HSC Exams on Shortened Syllabus Next Year

Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni said the closure of educational institutions has been extended even further in the current coronavirus or Covid-19 situation in the country. Due to the disruption of educational activities, the syllabus of candidates for the Secondary School Certification (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations in 2022 has been shortened like this year. 

She was addressing a press conference virtually on Wednesday noon.

The education minister also said, “This year, SSC candidates will take part in classes for 60 days while HSC candidates for 84 days. The candidates of 2022 will attend classes for 150 days and 180 days respectively. And then they will take part in examinations.”

Dr. Dipu Moni had previously announced that the ongoing closure of educational institutions would be extended until June 12.
