Covid-19 Claims 30 More Lives in Bangladesh

Bangladesh has reported 30 more Covid-19 deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the total death toll in the country to 12,869.
According to data provided by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the death rate remained steady at 1.58 percent.
During this time, 1,970 more people were infected with Covid-19, bringing the total number of cases to 812,960.
The present rate of positivity is 11.47 percent and the recovery rate at 92.65 percent, while the mortality rate stands at 1.58 percent.
A total of 17,169 samples were tested across the country in 24 hours (till 8 am today).
