State Minister for Religious Affairs Md Faridul Haque Khan has stated that he has received no information on whether any Bangladeshi pilgrims will travel to Saudi Arabia to conduct the holy Hajj this year.

The Saudi King has yet to send a message or a letter in connection with Hajj. If a message or letter is received, journalists will be learned in detail, according to the state minister.

Many individuals have varied opinions about Hajj, yet they are all false and contrived. However, if any opportunity for Hajj arises, all-out preparation will be made, and all-out help would be provided on behalf of the head of state and the ministry involved, he added.

Md Faridul Haque Khan made the remark during a news conference at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital, in response to a journalist's query.
