Covid-19 Claims 40 More Lives in Bangladesh

In the last 24 hours, 40 more people have died in the country as a result of
coronavirus or Covid-19.
There
have been 12,989 deaths in the country so far. In addition, 2,576 persons were
newly infected with the virus within the same time period. The overall number
of Covid-19 cases was 8 lakh 20 thousand 395 on Thursday.
This
information was released on Thursday afternoon in a press statement signed by
the additional director general of the Directorate General of Health Services
(DGHS).
