Bogura Goes into Week-Long Strict Lockdown

Bogura municipality area from Saturday went into a week-long strict lockdown to curb the recent upsurge of Covid-19 in the city.

Confirming the matter on Friday, Bogura Deputy Commissioner Ziaul Haque said, coronavirus infections have increased in various places in the district, including Bogura municipality area. In this situation, strict lockdown has been announced for seven days, reports media.

‎"During the lockdown, traffic in the district strictly controlled, and long-distance vehicles will also not be allowed to enter the municipality area.”‎

‎Earlier, a notification issued by the district administration announced all shops in Bogura municipality area to be closed by 7:30 pm.
