Covid-19: 16 More Die in RMCH in a Day

Sixteen people died at the Covid-19 unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) in 24 hours (till 8 am on Wednesday).

With this, the district's Covid-19 and suspected death toll climbed to 245 since June 1.

Of the deceased, eight were Covid-19 positive and rests were suspected cases, said RMCH Director Brig Gen Shamim Yazdani.

Among the deceased, eight hailed from Rajshahi and three from Chapainawabganj, two each from Natore and Naogaon, and one from Jhenaidah.

Sixty patients were admitted to the RMCH coronavirus unit over 24 hours till this morning, the director also said. The total number of admitted patients at present is 410.
