Destiny's Rafiqul Transferred to Central Jail from BSMMU

Destiny's Rafiqul Amin has been transferred from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) to Dhaka Central Jail on Saturday (July 3) afternoon for conducting a virtual meeting while in the hospital's prison cell.

He was taken to Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj near Dhaka. He was in the prison cell of the hospital for about three months due to his illness.

A jail official said a vehicle carrying Rafiqul Amin reached Dhaka Central Jail around 3.30 pm on Saturday. Here he will be kept in quarantine for 14 days.

Rafiqul Amin was holding an online business meeting on Friday while sitting in the prison cell of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. The video was spread on social media.

As seen in a video of more than an hour, Rafiqul Amin's name is written in English as 'R'. He is directing others in the meeting.
