Prof Abdul Halim New DU IER Director

Dhaka University Institute of Education and Research (IER) Professor. Md. Abdul Halim has been appointed as the director of the institute.

A press release signed by Mahmood Alam, the director of Dhaka University's public relations office, on Saturday said that DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman appointed him as the IER director.

Prof Abdul Halim assumed his new office on June 30, the press release said. 

Prof Abdul Halim completed his PhD degree with ICCR scholarship from the MS University of Baroda, India. Earlier, He worked as an educational consultant at national and international organizations including the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB), Planning Ministry, Ministry of Education, Asian Development Bank, World Bank and Plan Bangladesh.
