4 Security Guards Burnt in Narayanganj Paper Mill Fire

Four security men sustained burn injuries from a fire caused by gas leakage at Al Noor Paper Mill in Kanchpur area under Sonargaon of Narayanganj early hours of Monday.

The victims are identified as Asadujjaman, 40, Mostafijur Rahman, 45, Farooque Mia, 45 and Tawhidul Islam, 40. All of them are security guards at Al Noor Paper Mill, reports media

Narayanganj Fire Service and Civil Defense Deputy Assistant Director Tanharul Islam confirmed the matter.

He said the fire caused by a leak from a gas near the room of the mill's security guards and it spread within moments at 1:30 am in the area while the victims were in sleep.

They have been admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka.
