17 die of Covid-19 in MMCH in 24 Hours

In the last 24 hours, at least seventeen people died while receiving treatment at the Covid-19 unit of the Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH).

Five deaths occurred from coronavirus infections, whereas twelve died from symptoms similar to Covid-19.

The matter was confirmed by Dr Mohiuddin Khan Moon, a spokeswoman for the MMCH's corona unit.

According to him, 371 Covid-19 patients are now being treated at the hospital.

He stated that 55 patients had been admitted to the hospital with Covid-19 symptoms in the last 24 hours.

In addition, officials from the District Civil Surgeon's Office revealed that in the last 24 hours, 645 out of 236 persons tested positive for Covid-19.
