Dhaka University (DU) has again
postponed the admission test schedule for the first year of the 2020-21 academic
year. According to the new schedule, the admission test will start on October
1.
According to the previously
announced schedule, the admission test was scheduled to start on the 31st of
this month (July).
The decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the University Deans Committee on Tuesday (July 13)
afternoon.
Vice-Chancellor of the
University Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman presided over the meeting. The
decision will be finalized at the next meeting of the Academic Council.
DU Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education)
Professor ASM Maqsood Kamal said the date of first-year admission test has been
postponed due to increased coronavirus infection. According to the new
decision, the admission test will start on October 1 through the A unit test.
