Registration Needed to Start Online Business

To do business online, a business plan need to be submitted for the registration, said Commerce Ministry Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh.

He said that from now on the business unique identification number of the Ministry of Commerce has to be taken.

He made the remarks after a meeting with e-commerce stakeholders at the Commerce Ministry on Sunday (July 18th).

The Commerce Secretary said that from now on, if you want to do business in e-commerce, you have to register. For this a wing will be set up in the Ministry of Commerce. However, there was no discussion about business on Facebook.
