Sajeeb Group Chairman MA Hashem and his two sons were granted bail in a case filed over the Rupganj factory fire that killed 52 workers.

Hashem and his sons, Hasib Bin Hashem and Tarek Ibrahim, were granted bail today by Senior District and Sessions Judge Anisur Rahman.

On July 10, police arrested eight people in connection with the investigation, including Sajeeb Group Chairman MA Hashem, his four sons, and three factory officials.

Hashem's two sons, Tawsif Ibrahim and Tanjib Ibrahim, were granted bail in a Naranganj court on July 14.

On July 8, a major fire broke out at Hashem's Shezan Juice Factory, killing at least 52 workers and injuring many more.
