The age of coronavirus
vaccination has been set at 30 years by the Directorate General of Health
Services (DGHS). From now on, anyone over the age of 30 can register for the
vaccine.
On Monday (July 19), DGHS spokesman
and line director Professor Dr Nazmul Islam confirmed the matter.
He said the decision was taken yesterday
at a meeting in this regard.
Furthermore, the age limit will
be reduced by 5 years every one week.
On July 5, Director General of
the Health Department Abul Bashar Khurshid Alam lowered the age limit for
vaccination registration to 35.
