The government's strict lockdown, announced ahead of the holy Eid-ul-Azha to avoid coronavirus (Covid-19) infections, will begin at 6 am tomorrow, Friday, July 23, and lasts until midnight on August 5th.

Previously, on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, the government relaxed existing restrictions from midnight on July 14 to 6 am on July 23.

On Thursday morning (July 22), the second day of Eid, after visiting various areas of the capital, including Khilgaon, Malibagh, Rajarbagh, Rampura, and Moghbazar, it was noticed that members of law enforcement agencies are taking a position at different thoroughfares and seen stopping public transportations whether they are following health guidelines or not.

Law enforcement officials also began planning actions to raise public knowledge about the health requirements.
