The Health Directorate has announced that the second doses of Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine will be administrated in the country soon.

This information was given in the regular corona bulletin of the health directorate on Wednesday (July 28) at noon by the spokesperson and line director of the directorate, Professor Dr Nazmul Islam.

“We started AstraZeneca’s vaccination campaign, but stopped because there was no vaccine supply in the middle,” he said. Currently we have received some shots from our friendly Japan. I hope to be able to start vaccination drive soon.

Nazmul Islam said, "We are not able to administate yet due to internal process." Waiting for some more vaccines to arrive. However, we can assure you that this activity will start soon.

"We will get some more Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines in a few days because of the government's multi-pronged approach," he said.
