1.7 Million Doses of Sinopharm Vaccine on the Way to Dhaka

China has sent 1.7 million doses of Sinopharm vaccine to Bangladesh under the COVAX programme, reports media.  

Deputy Chief of Mission at the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka, Hualong Yan, shared the development in Facebook post.

An aircraft carrying the vaccines have departed Beijing at 5:25 am (local time) and will reach Dhaka this morning, he mentioned in the post.

“We'll be soon coming for vaccine co-producing”, Hualong Yan also said.
