Govt May Reimpose Lockdown if Situation Deteriorates

State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain said lockdown would be imposed again if the Corona situation deteriorates.

He made the remarks while talking to reporters at the Secretariat on Thursday (August 12).

He said the restrictions have been relaxed in pursuit of a livelihood. However, if the coronavirus situation worsens, lockdown will be imposed again.

"We will use both strategies," he added. One is to impose restrictions or lockdowns. Another is to give up. But everyone has to wear a mask.
