Another 10 Lakh Sinopharm Doses to Reach Dhaka

Another consignment of 10 lakh Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine doses under the COVAX campaign is scheduled to reach Dhaka Friday evening.

Huang Yan, deputy chief of the Chinese embassy in Dhaka confirmed the matter in a Facebook post Friday noon, reports media. 

He wrote: "One million (10 lakhs) China's gift Sinopharm vaccines to our Bangladeshi brothers and sisters have been loaded at Tianjin International Airport."

"They are supposed to arrive Dhaka this evening," he added.

Bangladesh is getting this consignment as a gift from China.

Earlier, a shipment of 17,70,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccine arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka around 8:00pm on August 11.
