4 Sustain Bullet Injury as AL Wings Clash in Chattogram

At least four people received bullet injuries in a clash between two groups in a program in Chandanaish Upazila of Chattogram.

It is learned that four people including local Awami League leader Nurul Amin were sustaining bullet injury. They are all followers of Awami League leader Engineer Afsar Uddin Chowdhury. They are being treated at a local hospital.

Local Awami League leaders and activists blocked the road in the incident. A large number of police have been deployed at the spot to control the situation.

Chandnaish police inspector (investigation) Majnu Mia said police went to the spot after receiving information of a fight between the two groups at a meeting. Police are working to control the situation. Both sides threw brickbats. But the cause of the shooting has not yet been confirmed.
