The Bangladesh Cricket Board named a 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup, which will be held in Oman and the United Arab Emirates beginning next month.

The team will be led by Mahmudullah as they begin their campaign in the first round against Scotland on October 17.

The BCB also named leg-spinner Aminul Islam and pacer Rubel Hossain as standby.

Bangladesh will then face Oman and Papua New Guinea on October 19 and 21, respectively, in the hopes of qualifying for the Super 12s as one of the top two teams from Group B.
