Bangladesh Gets 50 Lakh More Sinopharm Shots

Another consignment of 50 lakh doses of China’s Sinopharm vaccine arrived in Dhaka in the early hours of Saturday.
“A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the vaccine doses landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 12:45am. The jabs have been taken to a warehouse of Beximco in Tongi,” Dr Sazzad Hossain, health official at the airport.
With the fresh consignment, Bangladesh has so far received more than 2.49 crore Sinopharm doses.
