A Bangladeshi youth named Mohammad Sheikh Farid Arju (23) was killed when he fell from a 42 feet high crane while doing electrical work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The accident happened at noon on Saturday (September 25) in the Al Dowadmi area of ​​the city.

Sheikh Farid Arju is the eldest son of Mohammad Abdul Halim of Ward 8, Charhazari Union, Companyganj Upazila, Noakhali. He came to Saudi Arabia in 2020.

Arju's colleague Abu Bakkar Siddique said, we used to do electric work at the same time. He was working on the crane like every day. Suddenly Arju fell from a height of 42 feet due to a fault in the crane. Then we rushed him to the hospital by ambulance. The doctor on duty at the hospital declared him dead.

Companiganj Charhazari Union Parishad Chairman. Nurul Huda said, Sheikh Farid Arju is the eldest child of parents. He went to Saudi Arabia a year ago.
