The vaccine campaign to prevent the coronavirus will relaunch
on September 28 across the country, according to Health Minister Zahid Maleque.
Those who have not yet been vaccinated despite having completed the
registration process for several days will be given first consideration in the
campaign.
On Sunday (September 26), the Minister made the comment
during a virtual briefing on the country's coronavirus situation and
vaccination efforts.
“Those who completed registrations many days ago but have not
yet got the vaccine will be given priority during the campaign,” Zahid Maleque
stated. It's true that there were a lot of registrations at the start, which
added to the confusion. A total of 20 to 25 lakh people registered over the
course of a few days. We've used up all of our vaccines. As a result, the issue
will be resolved.”
“Vaccine manufacture is underway in the country. Incepta
Pharma, a private pharmaceutical company, is collaborating with a Chinese firm
on this. So far, I've learned that their job is still ongoing. We hope they
will honor their pledge in the manner in which they made it. Vaccines will not
be in limited supply. We'll have enough vaccination doses by December thanks to
purchases and Covax.
