The authorities of Dhaka
University (DU) have expelled two students for digital fraud and obtaining admission
through unethical means.
In addition, 72 students have
been punished in various ways for using unfair techniques during the tests.
The decision was taken at a
meeting of the university's disciplinary committee on Monday, which was chaired
by VC Professor Akhtaruzzaman.
Md Rakib Hasan of the
Accounting & Information Systems Department (Session 2017-18) and Ishrak
Hossain Rafi of the Geology Department have been expelled (Session 2017-18).
The issue will be discussed
in the following syndicate meeting.
