The High Court on Wednesday once again sought explanation from two lower court judges, who ordered to interrogate actress Pori Moni in remand for second and third phases in a case filed under the Narcotics Control Act, reports media.

A HC bench comprising Justice Md Mostafa Zaman Islam and Justice KM Zahid Sarwar Kajal passed the order. Besides, the bench also fixed October 24 for the next hearing in this regard.

Earlier on September 2, the same bench asked the two lower court judges, who approved prayers for taking the actress in remand in phases, to explain their action.

The two judges came up with their explanation and failed to satisfy the bench on September 2.

Pori Moni was arrested on August 4 following a raid by Rapid Action Battalion on her Banani residence. Later, a case was filed against her under the Narcotics Control Act.

On august 31, a Dhaka court granted bail to the actress following the High Court's intervention.
