Nasir-Tamima's Marriage Is Not Legal: PBI

Cricketer Nasir Hossain and Tamima Sultana Tammi's marriage was not legal. Tamima is still the wife of businessman Rakib Hasan. Tamima and Rakib's divorce documents have been forged. Tamima married Nasir without divorcing Rakib.

The investigating agency Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has found such evidence. In the investigation of the case, Nasir, Saudi Airlines’ Air-hostage Tamima and Sumi Akter, mother of Tamima have been found guilty and a report has been submitted.

PBI investigation officer Mizanur Rahman submitted the report to the Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court (CMM) on Thursday (September 30).

Earlier on February 24, the court directed the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to probe the case against Nasir and Tamima for marrying someone else's wife without a divorce.

Tamima's ex-husband Rakib filed the case in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim.
