During a conflict between
two parties following a dispute over sand extraction in Chattogram's Satkalia
upazila, at least ten persons sustained bullet wounds.
On Thursday, about 1:00 pm,
the clash broke out.
Md Anwar Hossain,
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the Satkania police station, confirmed the incident.
According to Assistant
Sub-Inspector Alauddin Talukdar of the Chattogram Medical College Hospital
police outpost, eight individuals were shot and taken to the hospital. One of
them is in serious condition.
