After being closed for a year and a half due to the coronavirus pandemic, the halls have been opened for all-year residential students of Dhaka University (DU).

Today, Sunday (October 10) from 8 am in the second phase, the first, second, and third-year students of the university are allowed to enter the hall on the condition of showing at least one dose of vaccination card and university identity card.

After a long time, when the students got back, the hall provosts greeted them with fragrant flowers and chocolates.

Earlier, on Tuesday (October 5), the fourth-year undergraduate and master's students got up.

At the same time, the Provost Standing Committee has recommended starting the physical class examination on October 16. It has been approved by the Academic Council starting from the 17.
