40,000 school children between the ages of 12 and 17 will be vaccinated every day. And this activity will be started from October 30.

Director-General of the Directorate of Secondary & Higher Education (DSHE) Prof Dr Syed Mohammad Ghulam Farooq told this to the media.

He said there are 783 educational institutions including schools and colleges in Dhaka. The number of students here is 6 Lakh 15 thousand. We would administrate them with vaccines first. This vaccination program will start at Bangabandhu International Conference Center. There will be 200 booths for vaccinating students.

Saying that there is a plan to vaccinate in 21 centers of the country, Prof. Dr. Syed Mohammad Golam Farooq said, after the completion of the vaccination program in the Dhaka Metropolitan City Area, this program will be spread to 21 centers of the country later.

Asked whether this year's SSC and HSC candidates would be given priority in getting vaccinated, he said all students were being treated with equal importance. Hopefully, there will be no crisis over the availability of vaccines.
