Bangladesh T20 captain Mahmudullah Riyad has won the toss and decided to bowl first against Scotland in their first game of ICC T20 World Cup in Oman on Sunday, reports media.

“Looks like a good wicket, plenty of runs, but we would like to chase because of the dew”, Mahmudullah said after winning the toss.

The Scottish captain Kyle Coetzer is also not unhappy to bat first.

"We were happy either way," says. "Happy to bat first. You put runs on the board, it creates pressure second half. There might be a bit of dew around, but we'll have to deal with that", he said.

Bangladesh dropped Mohammad Naim, who has been playing as the opener for the past three series and the warm-up games, Soumya Sarkar replaced him on the top.

The Tigers opted for three seamers and two spinners in the squad.
