Mentioning the incident in Cumilla was certainly hatched by vested quarter, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that it would take some time to find out whether the Rangpur incident was also intentional.

"Everyone is working on this, including RAB and counter-terrorism unit," he said. “We are trying to find the links on Facebook.”

He was responding to a question from reporters at his office in the Secretariat on Monday (October 18) at noon.

Mentioning the main purpose of these incidents to disturb the peace and harmony of the country, he said, "We will come to know about the incidents very soon." "We have seen such incidents in Ramu, Bhola and Nasirnagar. Those have been staged purposefully through spreading propaganda on social media."

The minister said the incident in Cumilla was deliberately staged to create a crack in Communal harmony.
