Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that the government is making maximum efforts to implement the verdict in the murder of the national leader on November 3, 1975.

He said the trial of Bangabandhu's murder has been held and the verdict has been partially executed. If we get the fugitive accused under our control, the death sentence will be effective. And we are doing our best to enforce the verdict of jail killing.

He added that prisons are the safest place in the world. In that case, everyone knows how this murder was committed by breaking the law.

He made the remarks after paying homage to the portrait of the four national leaders at the old jail on Nazim Uddin Road in the capital on November 3 this morning.

After the Home Minister, Tanjim Ahmed Sohail Taj, son of Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed, Simin Hossain Rimi, Rezaul Karim, son of Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali, Haji Mohammad Selim, MP of Dhaka-6 constituency, former MP Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin paid homage to the four national leaders with flowers. Inspector General of Prisons Brigadier General Anisur Rahman and many others were present at the moment.
