20 Held with Drugs in Shibganj

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested 20 persons from Shibganj municipality area in the district as they were taking drugs this afternoon, reports BSS.

RAB said, as part of the anti-drug drives, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid in a mango orchard behind Shibganj Dakbanglow at 1 pm and arrested them as they were taking drugs.

RAB also seized drugs and drugs-taking instruments from them, the sources added.

Later, the arrested persons were handed over to the police of Shibganj police station with a case.
