4th India-Bangladesh Cycling Expedition To Be Flagged Off Today

On Monday the 4th Joint Indo-Bangladesh Cycling Expedition will be flagged-off by GOC, 55 Infantry Division of the Bangladesh Army from Osmani Stadium at Jashore, reports media. 

The cycling expedition involves 30 skilled Officers and Junior Commissioned Officers / Other Ranks of Bangladesh Army and Indian Army.​  

The expedition would cover 197 Kms in Bangladesh, touching historic areas of Jashore, Jhenaidah, Kushtia, Meherpur, and Darshana. 

The entire team will enter India through the Darshana land port in the morning on November 19.

Once in India, the team will travel through Krishnanagar, Ranaghat, and Kalyani in West Bengal before reaching their final destination in Kolkata on 24 November 2021, thus covering 181 kms of route. 

The Flag-In ceremony of the expedition will be organized by the Indian Army at Kolkata at the hands of GOC-in-C, Eastern Command.
