Coronavirus
vaccine production will be started in the country from 2022, said Salman Fazlur
Rahman MP, private industry and investment adviser to the Prime Minister.
He
made the remarks at the 'Meet the Reporters' program organized at the Nasrul
Hamid Auditorium of Dhaka Reporters' Unity on Tuesday (November 23).
Salman
F Rahman said we will start the production of the coronavirus vaccine in the
country in 2022. Incepta Pharmaceuticals Limited is in talks with a Chinese
company. Once the terms and conditions are finalized with them, Incepta will be
able to start production.
Beximco
has also started vaccine production. Hopefully, in the next four to six months,
we will be able to complete the vaccine production.
He
also said that Bangladesh would also get the vaccines from the Serum Institute
of India early next year.

President Mursalin Nomani, General Secretary Moshiur Rahman Khan, and others
were present at the occasion.
