Bangladesh ended the first day of the first Test against Pakistan on 254-4 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. 

Liton Kumar Das, who registered his maiden Test hundred was unbeaten on 113 runs at the close of play while Mushfiqur Rahim was also not out on 82.

The day's play ended five overs early due to bad light, the second day's play will start 11 minutes early.

Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat but they lost four quick wickets in the first session.

But after that, Mushfiq and Liton stabilized Bangladesh with a 204* runs stand.
